| "These are wonderful winter socks for someone who wears wellington boots all day. They pull up to the knee, they are wide enough for a muscled calf and yet the tops are secure so that they don't fall down. They do not start falling down with time as they age. These are described as medium thick but I would call them certainly thick socks. They are comfortable for the feet and they are labelled left and right. I have used non-bio powder to machine wash them. I gave my husband 2 pairs at Christmas 08 and will buy them again. They have just started to wear out on the soles." | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
