| "I am very pleased with the quality of this garment. Unlike most thermal vests, which are a polyester-viscose blend, this vest is made from a wool and silk blend, which makes it extremely soft and comfortable againt the skin, without those thin straps that sometimes dig into the shoulders.
My only minor issue is that I wish the MEY range included a slightly smaller size. I would say that the top I ordered, in a 38, was somewhere between a size 10-12, and the ideal size would have been a 10. This means that the armholes are slightly big so the underarm part sits slightly low on me, and the overall fit could have been a little more snug.
However, the fitting is still quite decent on me, and sizing won't be an issue for everyone. I've yet to try it out on a really cold day, but hopefully it will be warm and add some insulation. The main advantages are that the feel of the fabric is lovely and it's more luxurious than other vests. Overall, this is a good wardrobe staple in my view." |
