Most socks are machine-washable. For best socks care follow these rules:
- Wash your socks regularly to avoid bad foot climate. Your socks will also live longer.
- Socks should be washed inside out.
- Always follow the instructions on the label.
- Use the proper amount of detergent for your hardness of water.
- Keep velcro fastenings away from your socks, as they may pull out threads from your socks and
damage them during the washing.
- Top Advice: To avoid loosing socks put them together in a laundry bag before you wash them.
Special care should be taken for wool socks and
silk socks:
- Do not tumble dry.
- Use a detergent for delicate fabrics or special detergent for all wool and silk socks.
- You might consider dry cleaning for
Silk and Cashmere socks.

- Don't just grasp the end of your socks when putting your feet in. Gather the socks up to the toe
area and then gently pull the sock around the toes, over the heel and up the leg.
