The Royal Classic is made from the noblest Egyptian cotton. Since its launch in 1963, "Royal Classic" has markedly contributed to Zimmerli's reputation as the producer of the finest underwear in the world. It is especially designed for the classic shirt wearer and apparently is favoured by royalty.
The Royal Classic Range is produced using a circular knitted fabric which allows high stretch ability. The trimmings at the leg holes are made of the same material as the body. They
are cut as a spiral, giving a fine body fit.
Zimmerli of Switzerland's underwear and nightwear are still made in Switzerland.
